Hard coat anodised aluminium drum for durability. The furling line which is a continuous loop in ideal condition. It works now. Drum diameter: 63mm 2 1/2.

Low friction PTFE retainer strip prevents line snagging. Glass filled, thermoplastic body for optimised weight. I paid $300 for this. Suitable for head sail canker furling on boats up to 7m 23ft.

Factory sealed and lubricated, high performance ball bearing races minimise friction. The loop is never been opened or re spliced and the splice in so well done that it runs over fur without an issue. Pre-spliced furling line can be shortened and re spliced. Low profile design allows maximum luff length /sail area.

The further drum is aluminum with a nice decent grip on it. To find piece of hardware to mess around with. Die cast, ribbed groove profile for maximum grip. Highly polished stainless steel guide reduces friction and wear.

The whole thing works wonderfully, except for the part where bearings, corroded and seized. Unique drum groove ejects the furling line when sail is deployed. As good as new, but I have no use for it, so my loss is your game. I installed it on my boat as a permanent further.
